We could have new exchange items as compensation, or we could consume “marimo” (which can be obtained by purchasing a bundle, opening a treasure chest, and disassembling it).
Without a means to solve the problem with the power of money, latecomers will never be able to catch up with the first movers. Whether or not they actually use money to solve the problem, without the means, there is nothing but despair.
A money-based solution is the “hope” for such players.
